Careers

Careers at Shephard Plumbing: are you a journeyman plumber?

We might be the right fit for you. Shephard Plumbing, LLC is continuing to grow, and we are always interested in hearing from hard-working professionals.

Students looking for an internship, people fresh out of trade school, and plumbers who have been in the industry for years: we might have just the right place for you in our company.

Who should reach out.

Student

A student looking for an internship

You are still learning the trade and want time on real jobs with a working crew. Tell us where you are in school and when you can start.

New to the trade

Fresh out of trade school

You have the classroom hours and need the truck hours. Send your resume and tell us what you want to learn first.

Journeyman

Years in the industry

You already run a job start to finish and you are ready for a shop that is still building. Residential, commercial and new construction all come through the door.

Why we hire people starting out

The owner started as a struggling teenager with a chance.

Jeremy Shephard had no clear direction as a teenager until he was offered a job at Bock Plumbing. He took it, stayed several years, worked as a commercial plumber, and opened Shephard Plumbing in 2014. He knows what one opportunity can do, and he pushes the people who work here to keep getting better.

Read the whole story, and meet the crew you would be joining, on the About page.

“Best place in town for all your plumbing needs.”
